Q1 Dashboard Branding: Solving for brand coherence due to M&A. Making it easier to be on-brand through the use of design tokens.
Q2 Dashboard Capabilities: Engineering introducing MFE and a Service Centric Architecture Influencing Design Capabilities. How can we improve the lives of our customers with Stateful Solutions, Consistent Navigation and Improved Onboarding?
Northstar: Dashboard Research:
Solving the right problems.
• Provisioning services, inviting users, assigning roles, activating subscriptions, onboarding devices, etc. Overly complex and frustrating
• The platform homepage doesn’t show data or recommendations related to services, devices or environment, so there’s little actionable context prior to launching a service
• Navigating the platform involves in / out of service contexts is confusing and inconsistent — features they expect that could make this easier, like search, are absent
• There’s confusing redundancy between service offers and significant UI changes that make it seem like a collection of separate products
