Ascend Learning: Mobile Projects for ATI Nursing, ClickSafety and Jones and Bartlett
ATI Nursing:
A healthcare industry mobile app called ATI Go! for students looking to prepare for their NCLEX exam. The app provides access to study and reading materials, that recreated our desktop product in a leaner format. This project included integrating an existing mobile product (formerly an e-book) with our “Focused Review” desktop product. The app allows students to perform the primary functions in Focused review (a learning loop and remediation system) - along with referencing study material from the e-book. Wireframes were completed using Sketch with Material Design components. This helped us to design for multiple form factors, as well as aided us in usability testing, with higher fidelity prototypes. In addition to this, using Sketch with Material Design components uploaded to InVision Inspect provided our developers with pixel perfect hand-offs.

Jones and Bartlett wanted an app to provide a resource for electricians. They called the app UGLY'S. As the Lead UX on this project, my team worked with a third party agency to develop this design. Ugly’s is the short-hand name for a small guide book that electricians and plumbers use to complete a job safely and correctly. This project took that book and transformed it into an online app that provides video instruction, calculation and quick answers for working professionals. This app is meant to deliver quick, accurate answers in a unique “tool-box library” format to ensure electrical and plumbing jobs are completed safely and correctly every time.
